Dan Sanchez is the founder and President of Tee Off Against (TOA), a non-profit company whose goal is to raise awareness and funds through awesome golf tournaments! TOA teams with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Central PA and PA Wounded Warriors for their fundraising efforts!
I started Tee Off Against in 2013 because I had created a golf event as a fund raiser when I ran for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Man and Woman of the Year contest earlier in the year. The odds seemed impossible to pull off a golf event in less than 8 weeks but I tried and Rich Valley Golf course gave me the chance. It was for an AM flight and amazingly 208 golfers attended the event and it overflowed into the PM. I realized then that I could do something special to help in the fight against cancer through golf. Later, it expanded to another golf event benefiting the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc.
It has been an AMAZING experience to have founded this organization that gives back to two awesome charities each year. The people I have met doing this and hearing their individual stories is why this has become so passionate for me. The amount of Tee Off Volunteers that donated their time to be a part of these events is something that I will never forget, and I am so thankful for our volunteers and our all-volunteer Board Members that help spread the TOA vision and our message of “We Golf to Save Lives!”
I could not do this without the support of my awesome wife Terri and the support of our amazing local businesses and or course our AMAZING golfers. It is incredible to believe that every tournament is always sold out.

Gary is a native of Mechanicsburg. He and his wife Delane have three girls, Katie a college student at West Chester University, Karli a student in Nursing at DC Technical and Kenzie a student at Mechanicsburg Senior High School, which is Gary’s Alma Mater. He worked in the automotive industry for 27 years but in 2019 Gary and his wife bought a 360 Tour Designs franchise. He is a real estate photographer that enjoys his job and meeting new people.
Gary golfed in every Tee Off Against tournament from 2013 – 2017 at which time he was asked to be on the board. His wife volunteers every year for both tournaments and anything the board asks of her. Gary got Faulkner Automotive (his employer at the time) involved in becoming a major sponsor for tee Off Against. In 2017 Dan asked Gary to be is Vice President. This was a huge opportunity for Gary to make a difference in the lives of people he loves. In 2005 Gary lost is Mother to cancer and in 2019 his Mother in Law to cancer. His father lost an eye to cancer and his niece at the age of 2 was diagnosed with a brain tumor resulting in multiple surgeries. This platform is his way of fighting for those that he couldn’t help in the past.
Gary is very proud to be a part of this organization and what it represents. He has brought multiple sponsors and has helped gather chance items for these events. He would love to talk to anyone wanting to volunteer, sponsor or give items for the chance raffle. Gary can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Beth has lived in the area for most of her life and worked in the Accounting field for over 35 years. Beth met Dan through Moe’s and volunteered for his first tournament when he ran for Man of the Year for Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. The next year she got more involved. After the second tournament, Dan was putting together his Board of Directors and was looking for a Treasurer. Beth happened to mention during a meeting that she has done accounting work for 30 years. Dan said “Ok you are Treasurer!” The rest is history. Beth has known several people that have had and beat Leukemia. This is a way to give back and honor those people. Beth can be contacted at email@example.com.
Kristin was born and raised in Mechanicsburg and has worked in the engineering field for 13 years. Kristin and her husband Mat met Dan at Moe’s several years ago. Dan was running for Man of the Year for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society 5 years ago and decided to do a golf tournament to raise money. Kristin volunteered for that tournament and has been at every one since. After the second tournament, she joined the Tee Off Against Board as the secretary. Kristin is honored to be a part of this amazing team.
Chris is a married, father of one. He has worked in flooring sales most of his career.
